Black History Get it Straight- A Minds Under Construction Production

Vol 2 of our Black History - Get it Straight series looks at the relationship abolitionist Frederick Douglas had with President Abraham Lincoln, and the impact that relationship had on the Emancipation Proclamation.

Did you know that Lincoln was not always in favor of liberating the enslaved?

Do you know what happened to Black soldiers that were captured by the enemy during the Civil War?

Who was the first African American man to be granted an appointment to the White House?

Answers to those question along with an intimate look at Douglas, Lincoln, and the talks and debates they engaged in on this installment of Black History - Get it Straight

WHEN MOTHERS HATE DAUGHTERS

WARNING: STRONG ADULT LANGUAGE AND CONTENT!!! RECOMMENDED FOR 18& OVER
In most cases, one would expect a biological mother to be her daughter's ultimate soulmate and supporter. They are bound by blood and validated by genes as related members of the same gender sorority.
But, we found, that is not always the case. What happens when Mom is envious of her daughter's youth ,vitality, opportunities, acheivements, even beauty and as sick as it may sound, the daughter's appeal to men?
What happens is something vile, dark, oppresive, demeaning and damaging. Its a subject not openly embraced, especially by the guilty, mean spirited, spiteful, and jealous Mothers.
On This Episode of The Rundown, Geo & MsQuietstorm go in hard on Mothers Hating on Daughters, in the quest to understand why, identify the veiled tactics these women use to demean and degrade their daughters. It's a hard gritty, brutally rhectorial discussion that hopefully will help some little girl or woman out of this dark abyss of mental misalignment.
